Caring for your Simon & Cleo sleeves

All Simon & Cleo sleeves are made with a select variety of fabrics from all around the globe. We have traveled to far out places in search of unique and exciting fabrics to offer you an array of patterns & colors to best suit your personality and style. Therefore, all of our sleeves are available in limited quantities only. Although this ensures that only a handful of people around the world may have the same sleeve as you purchased, it also means that if something were to happen to your sleeve, it may not be possible for us to replace it with an identical one.

Please give your new sleeve some time to adjust to your device as each fabric reacts differently and will conform to the dimensions of your hardware with continued use. The sleeves are adequately padded to provide your device with limited protection from everyday scratches and helps in easier handling.

Please avoid washing your sleeve too frequently as, like many clothing items, this can result in an inferior fit. Also, keep in mind that some stains and marks may become permanent additions to your sleeve, e.g. ink, paint, oil, wine, etc. Do not use harsh chemicals, bleach and stain removers on your sleeve.

The interior lining for each Simon & Cleo sleeve is generally made with a high-quality, non-abrasive polyester or, occasionally, with various other materials that do not cause color bleed and can also withstand all cleaning methods prescribed below.

Depending on the outer material, most of our sleeves can be easily hand washed, while others may require that you only dry clean them. Hand Wash Safe and Dry Clean Safe

Simon & Cleo sleeves that are hand wash safe are recommended to be gently hand washed in cold or tap warm water with mild laundry cleaners only. Please note that certain soaps and detergents may cause discoloration of the fabrics – please use caution. Do not wring to drain and always lay your sleeve flat to dry in a well-ventilated area to retain its fit. Once the outer shell is dry to touch, make sure you turn the sleeve inside out or pull the inside shell out to ensure complete drying. Please do not place your sleeve in an electric dryer as this may cause the sleeve to loose its form and fit.

Once completely dry, if you prefer, you can use a warm iron to smooth out any wrinkles and/or creases from your sleeve. Especially for all delicate fabrics, such as Silks, place a soft, light cotton fabric on top of the sleeve to be ironed to protect from direct heat and iron burns.

You can also choose to dry clean your sleeve. We recommend that you check with your local dry cleaner for proper handling & care.

Dry Clean Safe Only

Simon & Cleo sleeves in this category are only recommended for dry cleaning as they have delicate weaves and/or embroidery & needle work. These fabrics are available in very limited quantities, hence require meticulous workmanship to ensure quality, fit and form. Simon & Cleo can not guarantee availability of these fabrics should you require a replacement for any reason, so please make sure to follow proper recommended care instructions.

Caring for your Simon & Cleo wallets

Our wallets are constructed with genuine cowhide and accented with unique global fabrics such as: China Brocade - a traditional Silk from China, reminiscent of their superb silk weaving skills, and rare 100% Tree Cotton - used in Pakistan for centuries to create handmade, block-printed shawls called Ajraks.

The leather on the wallets tends to soften up with continued use enhancing it's original look and characteristic. If required, the leather areas of your wallet can be wiped clean with any cleaner or polish available in the market for 'genuine' leather only.
